The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) was signed into law by President Joe Biden on March 11, 2021. The State of Ãå±±ÂÖ¼éwas allocated $1.04 billion of Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Funds, which in part may be used to address the public health emergency and negative economic impacts due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Signed into law by Governor Pete Ricketts on April 13, 2022, various sections of Legislative Bill 1014e appropriates federal funds from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Funds to the University of Ãå±±ÂÖ¼éto carry out specific programs and projects that are eligible under the final SLFRF rule adopted by the U.S. Department of Treasury.
Additionally, the University to Ãå±±ÂÖ¼éwas appropriated federal funds from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Funds under Legislative Bill 1068a, which was signed into law by Governor Pete Ricketts on April 18, 2022.
